The Miracle that are Atoms
Democritus, student of Leucippus
Believed that matter consisted of atoms
And that all observable things are explainable
Through combinations of sizes & shapes of these particles
Here comes Dalton who paved the way for modern Chemistry
Defined an atom as a minute particle
His atomic model is sphere-like
And produced three laws governing chemical changes
Because of this, there followed three more
The compositions of an atom
By Chadwick, Thomson and Goldstein,
Are neutrons, electrons and the protons
After these breakthroughs, more discoveries occurred
By Rutherford, Bohr and Schrödinger
These brilliants discovered more atomic models
This made the atoms more understandable
Atoms are miracles discovered by humans
For things like those can’t be seen using our naked eyes
These objects may be small and very microscopic
But they sure make up elements that help us in complex ways
